Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live) plays an affable stoner in Jason Orley’s debut comedy about friendship, family and the real-world consequences of never growing up.
When his big sister breaks up with her high school boyfriend Zeke (Pete Davidson), 16-year-old Mo (Griffin Gluck) is determined to hold onto his new best friend. Taken under Zeke’s wing, and dazzled by his twentysomething slacker buddy, Mo embraces Zeke’s mischievous often impulsive antics that now brighten his ordinary suburban life. Zeke’s modern-day Peter Pan appeal begins to wear thin however when his misguided advice sees Mo spiralling into real trouble and questioning if Zeke really does have all the answers. Big Time Adolescence was warmly received at its Sundance Film Festival premiere.
