A pitch-black Australian comedy-horror in the vein of Sam Raimi, Bloody Hell is one bloody good time.
Filmed on the Gold Coast but set across Idaho and Finland, Alister Grierson’s film is the story of Rex Coen (Ben O’Toole), who finds infamy when a video of his actions during a bank robbery goes viral. Escaping to Helsinki, he finds himself in a darker situation and one much more difficult to escape. Driven by a relentless energy and with an international scope in its action, Bloody Hell is a subversive, witty and blood-soaked new entry in the Australian genre film canon, produced by and starring locals of the Queensland film industry.
