A wry French adventure-comedy, Bon Voyage boasts a playful mix of intersecting plotlines involving murder, double-crosses, smuggling and spies.
Among a cast that also includes Gérard Depardieu and Virginie Ledoyen, the sublime Isabelle Adjani stars as Viviane Denvers, a silver screen siren so mesmerising that men will even help her hide a dead body. As Paris sits on the precipice of Nazi occupation, the lead characters must band together to escape a new regime that will plunge the city into the shadows of fascism. Featuring lavish production design and a luxuriant sense of place, the film was nominated for eight César awards in its native France in 2004.
