Are you working to establish your place in Queensland’s vibrant screen industry? The Queensland Emerging Screen Talent (QEST) conference is a free day of industry roundtables, seminars and workshops presented by the Brisbane International Film Festival and Griffith Film School. The sessions include pitching and distribution workshops, state and federal funding initiative information sessions, discussions with established filmmakers on all aspects of working in the local screen industry, and a short film competition. See a full list of QEST Short Film Competition Nominees here.

The QEST conference also includes the Australian premiere of On the Move, a world first collaboration between three international film schools: Griffith Film School (Australia), Beijing Film Academy (China) and Dankook University Film School (South Korea). Join us after the screening for a Q&A with director Morgan Healy and producer Elizabeth Simard.

Proudly co-presented with Griffith Film School.
