The disappearance of a young Palestinian-Australian in suburban Sydney fuels media speculation about her political motivations.

In this gripping drama, Ameena Nasser (Danielle Horvat) is a hijab-wearing political activist whose electrifying slam poetry has earned her an online following. When she goes missing after a gig, her brother Ricky (Adam Bakri), a cafe owner and former refugee, must reconcile with his Muslim identity amid simmering social tensions and Islamophobia as his family confronts their tenuous acceptance by their adopted country.
