Worlds of Ursula K Le Guin is a warm and insightful portrait of the trailblazing science fiction and fantasy writer.

Spanning Le Guin’s career, Worlds traverses the author’s writing, from receiving condescending rejection letters to her early gender-bending work The Left Hand of Darkness (1969) and her electrifying rail against Amazon at the 2015 National Book Awards. The documentary offers an intimate and rare window into Le Guin’s writing practice through extensive interviews with the author herself and other writers such as Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood and David Mitchell. Le Guin lit the path for countless writers who followed, cementing herself as one of the greats.

Be sure to book your spot to the free panel ‘Women Writing the Fantastic‘ after the Sat 5 October screening.
