2020 Venue / Access

COVID-Safe Seating Arrangements

COVID-safe seating is being managed differently across our venues. Sessions at Elizabeth Picture Theatre, New Farm Six Cinemas, State Library of Queensland and Reading Cinemas Newmarket  are general admission, with the venue managing COVID-safe seating on entry to the cinema.  At the Australian Cinémathèque, GOMA and Dendy Cinemas Coorparoo you will be required to select your seat when booking online, from the seating plan.

State Library of Queensland

Note that entry to Auditorium 1, for BIFF screenings at State Library of Queensland, is via the side stairs near the SLQ Cafe/Queensland Terrace, rather than the main entrance.

The State Library of Queensland does not allow food, coffee or other beverages into to the Auditorium.

Plan your trip on public transport

Trains, busses and ferries provide an environmentally friendly travel option to get to BIFF. For more information, visit translink.com.au or call 13 12 30.
