The Brisbane International Film Festival returns in black-tie style with a landmark evening at Howard Smith Wharves. Opening with the Australian premiere of Agon, the acclaimed new film, fresh from Venice, is visually arresting and emotionally charged exploration of the beauty and brutality of elite competition. Director Giulio Bertelli joins audiences in Brisbane to present his film, followed by a conversation with Australia's leading female Olympians on ambition, resilience, and the pursuit of greatness.
