Queensland Premiere.

Dead Poets Society meets To Sir With Love in this charming, bittersweet Mexican drama based on true events.

In a Mexican border town plagued by neglect, corruption and violence, a frustrated teacher (the charming Eugenio Derbez of Coda fame) tries a radical new method to break through his students’ apathy and unlock their curiosity, potential and possibly even their genius. Radical shines a light on the incredible potential children can manifest when an innovative teacher empowers them to think for themselves. With echoes of Stand and Deliver, this beautifully crafted and authentic drama has been a festival and audience favourite since premiering at Sundance.
